Monitoring Conditions Around Your Home

Heavy rains in the Winter and Spring can often lead to flooding conditions in Montauk and The Hamptons, possibly resulting in serious damage if no one is monitoring conditions around you home.

Prevent Property Damage

Montauk's severe winter storms can come up quickly, sometimes requiring a rapid response to prevent property damage.

Don't Let THIS Happen To Your Home!

Call us today to take care of your home, while you are not there.

About Us

My name is John P. Lycke, owner of Lycke Home Service. I was born and raised in Montauk and been involved in the family business, Lycke Home Service, for my entire life. I took over the business when my father retired in 1992 and taken it from a sleepy little family house watch business started in 1964, to a technologically savvy Property Management Company. Over the years I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge regarding the care, maintenance and repair of homes located in what is essentially a harsh marine environment. With such close proximity to the Ocean and Long Island Sound, and such extreme conditions as we frequently experience in winter, I understand extra care must be taken in all phases of house watching.

Our Mission

As a property manager/house watcher, your network is part of your net worth. Having an extensive list of contacts and well developed connections can make or break your ability to accomplish a wide ranging scope of tasks in a timely and effective manner. Valuable second homes in Montauk and The Hamptons have unique, extensive and demanding needs which require the very best expert care from service personnel. This type of knowledge can only be acquired though experience gained from years of on hand, long-term relationships. Lycke Home Service, with 50+ years of continuous service to home owners in Montauk and on the East End provides this type of experienced, seasoned house watching service. There is no other home monitoring service that has even half of this amount of hands on knowledge of the community or is better equipped to anticipate your service needs. Your house watcher should have a well developed and reliable network which can be called on in any and all of your home and family times of need. Our vast network will help ensure you piece of mind and a healthy, non-stressed mind set, and a positive, enriching second home owner experience.

Our Offer

Lycke Home Service is based in Montauk, but serves Amagansett and the Hamptons. We are professional and wish to serve you. On top of the security we offer you, a by product is the added time you also gain at home (or on the beach) instead of making that drive to check on things. Let me find problems while that are still small, rather than finding a big one when you return.
